The weekend saw Yeovil Town Ladies FC and Bristol City Women secure promotion to FA WSL 1.
Yeovil secured a 2-0 away win against London Bees with goals from Kayleigh Green and Nadia Lawrence. They top the WSL 2 table on goal difference ahead of Bristol City Women who ran out 3-2 winners against Everton Ladies courtesy of 2 goals from Claire Emslie and one from Millie Farrow.
With one game left in the FA WSL 2 season both teams will battle to secure their place as champions on 6th November when Yeovil play at home against Sheffield FC Ladies and Bristol play away to Oxford United Women.
Doncaster Rovers Belles LFC will be the only team relegated from WSL 1.
Despite being relagated the club has a rich history to draw on for next season. The Belles first formed in 1969, first won the Women's FA Cup in 1983, were a founder member of the first national women's league in the 1991/92 season and were founder members of FA WSL in 2011.
