ENGLAND WOMEN WIN TOP GROUP 7 IN EURO 2017 QUALIFIER

England Women top European Championship Qualifying Group 7 following an emphatic 5-0 win over Estonia.

A crowd of over 7,000 at Notts County's Meadow Lane saw Danielle Carter of Arsenal score a hat-trick in only her second international. (9,17,56).

Dani's first cap was in the reverse fixture almost a year ago on 21st September 2015- she marked her debut in international football with a hat-trick then too.

Jill Scott scored with a trademark header in the 13th minute. Karen Carney completed the rout with an injury time penalty.

The Lionesesses had already booked their place at the Euros which will take place in The Netherlands in July/August 2017.

To maintain their place at the top of Group 7 the Lionesses must win or draw away against 2nd in the Group Belgium, on Tuesday 20th September.
